The Hyundai G4NC is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that powers several Hyundai and Kia models, including the i40, i30, and Tucson. It runs on a direct fuel injection system and uses an aluminium block fitted with cast-iron liners, a 16-valve cylinder head, and a timing chain. Built for durability and efficiency, this engine delivers a solid balance of performance and fuel economy.
NOTE: All engines are sold on a changeover basis. Fitting is available for all engines at a price of $1000 incl GST. Our labour is the cheapest around. We also include oil and oil filters in our pricing.
Freight is available for all engines. We do not organise the freight ourselves.
The warranty for the G4NC engine is 12 months or 20,000km, whichever comes first.

- Hyundai i30 2 (GD) in 2013 – 2016
- Hyundai i40 1 (VF) in 2011 – 2018
- Hyundai ix35 1 (LM) in 2013 – 2015
- Hyundai Tucson 3 (TL) in 2015 – 2020
- Kia Carens 4 (RP) in 2013 – 2018
- Kia Cerato 3 (YD) in 2012 – 2018
- Kia Sportage 3 (SL) in 2014 – 2015, Sportage 4 (QL) in 2015 – 2020
